I came to the Hudson Valley in 2014 from New York City and immediately started exploring the performing arts community. My background in theater and theater education spans many years. I came to New York in 1996 for college and received my BFA in Acting from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. I then stayed in the city to get my Masters in Educational Theater (still at NYU) from the Steinhardt School of Education. In addition to acting, I focused on self-scripting, dramaturgy, and new play development. My work has been seen at the NYC Fringe, Joe’s Pub, PS122, Dixon Place, The Knitting Factory and many other venues that don’t exist anymore. I am starting The Middle Company because I see a need in the community. My hope is to be a great facilitator and to let the company grow in response to the needs of its members. My job is to listen and respond.
